Gnatrol - 32 oz Gets the job done
Had a nasty infestation of fungus gnats on one of my house plants so after a bit of research i figured id try gnatrol. It took about a week to come in so it wasnt exactly a fast delivery but the product definitely works. It took a bit of time for the gnats to be completely eliminated but after a week they were non existent. Also seeing that you will only need a couple tablespoons per gallon its a great bargain

It kind of works.
I've got a bunch of houseplants at my home & office. I had a real problem with gnats, including one zebra plant (Aphelandra squarrosa) that was horribly infested. I've been using Gnatrol for over a month now, as directed on the package for "heavy infestation." I've noticed a reduction in gnats, but I haven't gotten rid of them entirely. Some plants still have three or four gnats flying around them every time I check, and of course that means there are probably dozens more hidden in the mulch or about to emerge from the soil. The plant that was horribly infested still seems to be infested, despite my frequently drenching it with a strong Gnatrol solution. I therefore have a hard time agreeing that this product is highly effective against gnats--how can they survive the drenchings if Gnatrol is so good at killing the larvae?

Two potential problems occurred to me that I would point out: First, Gnatrol only targets a single species of insect. If you have something similar but not the same species, it might not work as well or at all. Second, insects like gnats can adapt and evolve within a very short period of time because there may only be a few days between generations-- that's why many genetic experiments are conducted on fruit flies. If the gnats could develop some trait that helps them survive the presence of Gnatrol in the soil, you'd have to find another way to get rid of them. I don't know if either of these thoughts are the reason why I still have a gnat problem. All I know is that I'm still embarrassed about the flies hovering around my plants in my home and office--but at least there are fewer of them.

Jury's still out, but looks like it works...
I just started using Gnatrol a few weeks ago and the gnats coming out of my plants has greatly reduced. I mean, they're not completely gone, and I do start to see a surge of them after I water my plants, but I have sticky traps right next to the plants, so the gnats don't get far. I have noticed that my plants are getting brown, but I don't know whether that is due to the gnatrol or other factors. I think I may have used too concentrated a solution the first time. But, all in all, I am satisified with the product.

Great stuff!!
I have a small plant business and had a nat problem in one of the offices. I tell you I tried everything. Nothing would work. This stuff is incredible,
I doesn't kill the plant nor does it have a bad odor. It takes a couple of weeks but boy does it work. I'm using my second bottle, i would highly recommend this product!!

Gnatrol Results
Gnatrol did not work. After 3 heavy doses to plants in our home over a period of 3 weeks, the fungus gnats continuied to thrive.I would not recommend this product. I had to resort to flying insect spray to get rid of the fungus gnats.
